General Sleep Mask FAQs
Do sleep masks block out all light?
Ours does. The deep eye cups and nose panel seal the two spots light usually gets in. Set the nose panel first, then tighten the strap — do not over-tighten to chase a light leak.
Are sleep masks bad for your eyes?
Not this one. It rests on your brow, cheekbones, and nose, with an air gap over your eyes. That is what stops the blurry vision and crushed lashes you get from flat masks. If you have glaucoma, dry eye, or recent eye surgery, ask your eye doctor first.
Will it press on my eyelashes or lash extensions?
No. The contoured cups leave space, so nothing touches your lashes. Flat masks are the ones that flatten and break them.
How do you make a sleep mask stay on?
Sit the strap above the back point of your skull, not on it. Side sleepers: keep it slightly looser, and slide the buckle toward the crown so it is not trapped against the pillow.
How do you wash a CUZY NYSST sleep mask?
Hand wash only. Use cool water and a little mild soap, press the water out gently, and lay it flat to air dry. Do not wring it, and never put it in the dryer. Machine washing can bend the foam out of shape, so we do not recommend it. Wash weekly, or every 2 to 3 days if your skin is oily.
Is the CUZY NYSST sleep mask worth it?
Cheap masks leak light at the nose, have short straps, and flatten in a month. Ours is one tested style you can sleep in before you decide.
